About GeoSurvey
Built on precision. Founded by expertise.

Michael Cutfield founded GeoSurvey in 2019 after over two decades on New Zealand's biggest infrastructure projects. Before launching GeoSurvey, Michael delivered survey control on the Waterview Tunnel, Victoria Park Tunnel, Puhoi to Warkworth motorway, and Auckland's City Rail Link.
In 2023, he was awarded the Engineering Surveying Award at the Survey and Spatial New Zealand national conference - recognition for nearly 10 years leading the Engineering Surveying Stream. In 2024, GeoSurvey was among the first teams in New Zealand to complete a project using the HP SitePrint robot, on a polished concrete site requiring zero error margin.
Today GeoSurvey operates from B:Hive in Takapuna with a team of eight, covering the full Auckland region.
